Sepilok Nature Resort

Destinations: Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre at Kabili-Sepilok Forest Reserve.

Resort package includes: A trip to visit the fascinating and endangered orang-utans at the centre, one day Sepilok entrance fee. Package excludes: A camera fee (if applicable - normal camera ~US$ 3, Digital camera ~US$ 6) is also payable on arrival.

Resort accommodation (based on two share) includes: Bed, breakfast, lunch and dinner, Sandakan Airport - resort return transfers. A free transfer is also provided to Lankayan Island for those that are diving there. Prices are based on twin share accommodation. If you are a single guest traveling as part of a group you must pay the single supplement. If you are a single guest traveling alone, the single supplement is 100%.

Extra trips available: Labuk Bay to search for the proboscis monkey (US$ 41), guided tour of Sandakan Town to see the water village (US$ 36).

How to get there: The resort is located in Sepilok, just 25 kilometres from Sandakan. Return transfers from Sandakan Airport are included. If you are arriving from Kota Kinabalu then there are daily 50 minute flights from Terminal 2 departing to Sandakan at 10:10 and 16:15 hrs (return 13:35 and 19:40 hrs). If you're arriving from Sipadan then there are daily 40 minute flights from Tawau to Sandakan at 12:30 and 18:35 hrs (return 11:25 and 17:30 hrs).
